Week of October 3: Reach 3A Project UpdateOctober 3, 2016
There will be a planned water outage from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. Friday October 7 that will impact the entire Meadowmont Shopping Center. If all goes as planned, construction crews plan to have water service restored prior to start of business day. All businesses have been notified of the planned shutdown. Starting the week of Monday Oct. 3, crews will be performing work in the area of the Moose Lodge, which will impact the activities of Moose Lodge members and there will be traffic control on Blagen Road. This work is expected to continue into the week of Oct. 10.
Starting the week of October 3, construction crews will be working between the Meadowmont Shopping Center and Snowshoe Brewery. This work will continue into the week of October 10 and will cause the Meadowmont Way entry to the shopping center to be closed for several days.
Crews will be working to replace the pipeline where it crosses a small creek near Dr. Arnold’s dental office on Oak Circle beginning Tuesday Oct. 4. This work will continue through October 7 and it should cause only minimal impacts to residents and businesses in the area.
Beginning the week of October 10, crews will be working on replacing the pipeline where it crosses a creek near the Black Bear Inn on Oak Court. This work will continue through October 14 and may continue into the week of October 17.
Paving on Blagen Road is expected to begin by the end of October.
