The Operations Department plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of the Calaveras County Water District’s treatment, distribution, and collection facilities. Our primary focus is to safeguard public health and safety through comprehensive oversight.

Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining Water and Wastewater services.
- Maintaining and servicing all vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Managing facility construction and building services.
- Developing and executing the District’s emergency response program.
- Overseeing water quality programs to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
- Directing the development and upkeep of computerized Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and related programs.
