Leak Repair on 8” transmission main along Baldwin.

Crews will be performing an important repair on an 8-inch transmission water line along Baldwin. As a result, nearby streets, may experience temporary impacts during the work effort. Once excavation begins, our crews may find a simple issue that causes minimal or no disruption, or they could encounter a more complex situation. In the case of a more complicated repair, we may need to lower water pressure or, in some cases, temporarily shut off water to complete the repair. Discoloration is also a possibility if water pressure is altered, and flushing your water lines can usually resolve this if encountered. Road impacts are expected to be limited to the immediate repair site. We will have appropriate signage and traffic control in place to minimize disruption. Alternative routes should not be necessary unless the scope of the repair changes unexpectedly.
