CCWD Attends On the Right Track Event at Calaveras High - April 21, 2023
The Calaveras County Water District joined a large number of community, governmental and business organizations Thursday April 20 for the 2023 On the Right Track event, which was organized by the Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce.
Per the Chamber, On the Right Track is a program designed to equip young adults with skills needed to maneuver through life by creating “real life” scenarios requiring each student to engage organizations that can meet their needs and provide support. This program serves as a catalyst for conversations about community structure, social inequalities, and how people can work together to make positive changes in their lives and within their communities. The event offers opportunities for schools, business community, county offices, and residents to come together to prepare the next generation of students to successfully navigate through many of the organizations or agencies they will encounter through their lifetimes.
