The CCWD Board of Directors adopted Ordinance No. 2022-02, which allows commercial customers to request a review of their water and wastewater accounts. A minimum administrative review fee of $330 is required when applying for a commercial account review. This fee does not apply for the required reevaluation for new commercial sewer connections. Note: When requesting a review for either the water or sewer accounts, CCWD will conduct a full review of both accounts, if applicable

Customers can request a review of their accounts to reevaluate the water meter size if the meter is larger than 5/8-inch.

Water Meter Size Evaluation

Owners of commercial buildings with multiple meters on a single property may be allowed to consolidate meters to right-size water service for commercial tenants.

Consolidation of Water Meters

Existing commercial customers can elect to utilize a master meter to serve multiple commercial units. The property owner is responsible for any submetering or allocation of costs among commerical tenants, including bi-monthly billing.

Commercial customers can request a review of their accounts to determine if the bi-monthly base rate and capacity fees can be adjusted based on the greater of the 2 methods: 1) maximum number of fixtures; 2) actual peak day water use of the most recent 12-month period.
