Due to one of the worst droughts California has experienced since records have been kept, many reservoirs in Calaveras County are well below normal levels. Fortunately, rain and snowfall in Calaveras County has been above average so far in the 2016/2017 wet season, which has created significant inflows into local reservoirs. Using data provided by the California Department of Water Resources (DWR), it’s easy to keep an eye on inflows, outflows and reservoir storage levels.
