Millions in Turf and Toilet Rebates Still Available
If you thought you missed the chance to get up to $2,000 to replace your lawn or $100 toward a new toilet, think again. Save Our Water, which is overseeing a state-sponsored lawn and toilet replacement rebate program, has announced there are millions in unclaimed funds still available.
“To date, over 8,000 turf replacements applications have been submitted, totaling nearly $10 million with $14 million still available,” wrote Jose Valadez, Save Our Water outreach coordinator. “… nearly 28,000 toilet replacement rebates have been submitted totaling approximately $2.5 million, leaving nearly $3.5 million in rebate funds still available.”
