CCWD Makes Water Conservation Presentation at Valley Springs Elementary Garden Camp
CCWD talked at the Valley Springs Elementary Garden Camp about where their water comes from, drought and water conservation.
The students were excited to learn about how they can save water indoors and outdoors.
By the end of the day, the school garden was saving all its outdoor sink water and using a soil moisture meter to prevent over-watering. The garden is also equipped with high efficiency drip irrigation and plenty of mulch is used to prevent evaporation.
Nice job VSE! Keep up the good work with your conservation efforts!
