CCWD was proud to present $500 scholarships to Amelia Maurer of Bret Harte High School & Elizabeth Ernst of Mountain Oaks School. They earned the scholarship by writing essays about the value of water, water conservation and how the drought is affecting Calaveras County & the State. Amelia read her essay at Wednesday’s Board meeting. Elizabeth was unable to attend.
